15" Type R vs 15" Eclipse Ti

I wanna make a spl box for both

both will be fed about 1100 RMS

Thinking of what kind of box to build for a type ARGH, 4.4 cubes (not counting sub displacement) @ 34 hz?

but the eclipse will be going in a 3.7 cuber (not counting sub displacement) @ 33hz

Boxes will be assembled thursday

so we got a little over 24 hrs!

i had my type r 15 in a 4 cube box at 34hz and it sounded really nice off only 700 watts now im giving two of them 1100wrms each in an 8.5 cube box at 33hz and it is loud. 1100 watts in 4 cubes was what i found to work best for me. i think tuning at 33-34 hz is good for a daily setup with a type r. have the box for sale if interested ?

I have seen boxes for the ARGH @ 3 cubes?

Or is it really much more worth it to go 4?

yeah its a local sale but just thought i would ask. as far as 3cubes if you have the space than i would deff go with a 4 cube box rather then 3 cubes. but it is up to you. just from my personal experience 4 cubes got very loud. my r was only getting 700 watts and the sub was barely moving and was still decently loud.

I put my 12" Ti, in about 4.25 cubes, and it loved it and sounded great

K called alpine and this guy told me that I'd lose output if I put it in a box bigger then 2.9 cubes? (including displacement)

Gets mighty loud
