15" SI Mag + Sundown SAZ1500.1D

It works very well in reality. I have a 1500D wired to my 12" Mag sealed. As long as you don't get crazy with it you'll be fine, adjust the gain using a low frequency sine wave at your HU max unclipped volume (start the gain all the way down for this) and wait until the Mag begins to distort then back the gain off very slightly and you are good to go!

id recommend low-hz just because of my dealings with them.

altough i have talked to lukas from audio junkies and he was very helpful and quick..im gonnna get some slc kicks from him in future

What would you guys say if I told you my BMW is in the process of being converted to 3x SI Mag 15s (ported) with either 3 or 6 Sundown SAZ-1500Ds with 3 to 6 batteries //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I'm still evaluating the number of amps and batteries... leaning toward 3/3 right now for weight reasons (my springs would probably bottom out).

This project is fairly long term... so perhaps 6 months from now. The perpetually under construction demo vehicle now getting ready to lose the rear seats!

Not to say that I would listen to it at it's peak output daily... but yes, I would drive the car daily. My single 12" Mag sealed has enough output for me just to listen to daily.

It would pretty much only be unleashed at shows with me wearing ear plugs in and around the car. I had ear plugs in all day on Sunday at NOPI Nationals //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Basically something to showcase Sundown Audio and Stereo Integrity products at shows.

The SAZ 1500d amplifiers and our Mag's have proven to be quite the potent setup. We had numerous people (and one member of this forum who hasn't chimed in yet) swear at NOPI that Hollis' truck had Mag's in it...when in fact it had BM's in it.
