Do not condone using any of our subs in his weird designs. We've had many people have tons of issues with them.

The sub will work fine in 5 cubes, if you abuse it..it will break. Not quite sure why you are using so much port area either...you shouldn't need any more then 80 square inches of port.

so are you telling me that i will be safe to run the sub 3200 rms 5 cubes 80 inches of port area?

I wanted to go large on the port area because my friend swears by it for spl, and when he was explaining it to me it made sense.

will i damage the sub but going 5 cubes 121 inches of port area and 3200 rms?

ill be honest with you 5 cubes or higher and that sub wont take all of that.I have a d2 btl 15 now and im making the box smaller.i does very well in a big box and sounds good doing it but the more power you give it it shows if you want anything go 4-4.5 with 80-90^3 of port and seal it off from trunk.Make sure box design is good and your set g/l

Hey man, do a box tuned to mid 30's, I'd say somewhere around 35 as it will still pick up your lows fairly well and maintains authority nonetheless, 4^ft with 80-90 sq inches of port as stated above.

That sub is a good sub, but on 3k daily it's going to have a*tad* of strain put on it, and you dont need a larger "more efficient" box design. You dont want to overwork your woofer, now do you?

Sub forward, port on passenger side, seal it from the rest of your trunk firing into your cabin. You should be happy at that rate.
