Absolutely, and quite a few people do/have.

It'll be more SQ oriented than the Kove though. The Kove will probably beat it in sheer output, but the Dayton will take it in SQ.

Yes, out of the loop -directly-, but someone bought them from Kove, to resell. And, I wouldn't even own a used Kove product, again for principle. It supports the company, even if indirectly. but that daton is svc4 right? so skep, it wouldnt work in your application (unless you ran your 1200.1 at 4 ohms and made a HUGE box for it.

id still get the kove- that kovner (or whatever) guy is a big asshat- but who cares - he isnt gonna profit... its the best deal ive seen. you can get that dvc4 15" for under 200, where a dvc2(you cant use i think) SX12 is $250 or more.

IMO - i dont care about kove, but these are supposed to be nice woofers for the money. no doubt about that.

Because PE has high sales figures and a lot of hits per day, so many companies use them for a "clearing house" of old/discontinued models that they need to move. Most of the time PE doesn't find the product, they go to PE and ask PE to sell the product for them.

lol no... they are actually "High Excursion Woofers" or something like that. no name on them at all. but they are almost identical if not identical to the Kove woofers.
