Okay, I've been wanting to get a 15" fi q for a while now, what size aeroport should I be looking at if I decide to get one? Length is really the problem now, just wanna see if I can even get it to work first. Soo... diameter & length......

thanks in advance.

hmm. sounds right to me. now for my last question...i know you aren't supposed to have bends in an aeroport....but if i absolutely had to, would it make tons of port noise like some make it out to be?

Never done a 90 in an aero before, but for 4 cubes at 30hz you only need a 17.75" port, and for 32hz a 15.21" port, you can't fit that?

...mine was 4ft at around 29hz or so. I personally thought maybe smaller box tuned a little higher woulda fit my tasted a little better.

well its going in an xtra cab 01 tacoma...so it has a back seat, but very shallow....so basically for 4 cubes it will take up the entire back part of the cab, but i dont know if I can really fit too much more than 12" deep...

sub up/forward and port to the side and you should be good. Thats how it was in my ext cab f150. Kinda like this:

Port sideways and you should have all the length you need if you use the whole cab width back there

I see alxmlr789 in here too, actually bought that box offa him so he can give some impressions when he ran it too //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

yeah man i was wondering if I would be able to put the port on the side, just wasn't sure if it being close to the wall would hurt anything... i mean, I can always get it about 3" of clearance between port opening and side of truck...is that enough?

As long as its pretty unobstructed at the side of the truck where it has that 3" clearance I don't foresee a problem. I played around with the box in the pic above and crammed it pretty close to the sidewall of my truck and it still sounded good and got pretty loud.
