hey guys i was wondering what you think would be a good amp to push an adire audio 15" brahma mk II thats 1600 rms with dual 2 ohm voice coils. i was wanting more spl than sq. was lookin to spend no more than 325 give or take leme know. THANKS!!

Audiopipe 1500.1 is prolli the best amp for the money out there IMO. US AMPS MD2 can usually be found for about that price. Just look around sites like woofersetc.com and similar ones, plus check our classifieds. There are plenty amps in that power range to be found for that price.

so i know it all depends on the box and yada yada but if everything was correct about how many decibels do you think i can get

For starters, make sure you look for a bit smaller amp unless you know to be careful with the gains. I wouldn't really recommend the Brahma for that much power based on the size of the coil. That was with a different rating system than is typical, and I recall a fair number of failures with that amount of power.

well im not to familiar with car audio yet, trying to make it my hobby. i had two alpine type s in a ported box that i blew with a old soundstorm 750X2. the speaker im buying is used in a s-10 extended cab box thats 4 feet long 13 inches deep & 17.5 inches tall. but will be buying a new box after i buy the sub.

yes, with the typical rating system, it would be 600wrms.

You guys do realize he is talking about an MKII right? Not the newer girly versions.
Yes, the MkI and MKII seemed to be a bit safer in the 600-1000 W range; more than that could be deadly with the wrong source material.
