15 magnum box

i was thinking on upgrading to a 15 magnum but i can't fit a 4 cube ported box in my car. i don't want sealed and the biggest box i could fit in my car would be 3.25 and thats before factoring in a slotport unless i were to build it upfiring. could it go into a smaller ported box and still give alot of output and decent freq response. also would just going to a 12"magnum be a really noticible difference in spl while still bieng fed by the bx1000d.

i'm not asking for box designs for the 12" magnum i'm asking can i put the 15" magnum in a smaller box than 4 cubes if i go ported and still get alot of output and a somewhat smooth freq response and if i can't would a 12"magnum show a signifant spl improvement over my current setup bieng a 12"idmax in a 2.7 cube ported tuned to 32 hz with the same amp (bx1000d). i did some measuring and found out that if i go for a upfiring box i could go to 4.23 cubes gross displacement (as in before you factor in how much volume the sub, port and any bracing would take up) but thanks anyway for the box design and you probally did help someone else out.
