so i have one 15 in type R and i need to know what kind of box it will perform best in. also if anyone has expiernece with these could you let me know what amp is good to power it ?

There are plenty of threads on this forum about Type R's of all sizes. I am sure you can find the information you need in one of them!

for a simple response... 3.5 - 4 cf box tuned to 32-35hz with 750 - 1000 rms. (something like a kicker zx1000, that puts out 1000rms at 2 ohms)

Their is no perfect answer for your box, there are a lot of things to interpret (type of vehicle, etc).

4cu ft @ 33hz per sub was the sweetspot in my ford explorer.

i wouldnt give them any less then 900RMS. They seemed to be the most pleased right around 1100rms a piece (off of a Bxi2607d)
