15 inch sealed vs. 10 inch ported

I want that low deep bass that will shake up my organs and chest but I also want to be efficient about it. 1 15 ported with 1200-1400 watts RMS would be perfect.

SSA Store... With your power you could do a couple 12's if you could squeeze in a little more room... Mine was in 1.7 ported at 31hz and got pretty loud...
4 years ago I had 2 12 inch RF T1's in a custom box tuned to 40 hz that was stupid loud and hit hardddddd. But it took up my trunk in the back of my 4-Runner.

Good choice. Back in my nooby days I asked the question about two 15s sealed or 1 15 ported and decided to stick with what i had used before, and it got loud but it just seemed like so much more was missing. I was seeing on youtube single 15 setups and it made me disappointed in my setup. Eventually got the new 15 in my car and it made a world of difference. Got much louder and much lower lol, wish I would have done it in the first place. Had like no roof flex whatsoever with the two 15s, but with the single I was able to do this

It makes perfect sense to me. I tried 1 12 in the past. It was a RF T2 in a custom box tuned to 38hz and it obliterated my 2 10's. 1 15 with 1200-1400 watts @ 2 ohms in a box that my truck can support and still leave me with plenty of room. Mannnnnnnnnnn. I am so glad I started this thread. I didn't want a 12. I wanted a 15.
