So I can't decide on which sub to get. Whichever one I get well be running off a hifonics glx.1400 at 1 ohm at 1400 rms. One is the American bass xfl 15 in a 4 cubic for box tuned to 32Hz. Or a 12 inch american bass xfl in a 2 cubic foot box tuned to 32Hz. I mostly listen to rap, dubstep, and trap music. I want it to be as loud as possible. But I have heard that 12's hit higher notes and 15's hit lower notes and are louder but hit slower and can be behind. What do you guys think? I guess the most important part for me is being the loudest with full range.

^^^ to add on to that

the only advantage of the 15 would "possibly" be playing a little bit lower and louder

My DC Level 3 15 dug to about 23-24hz with AUTHORITY.

All my single 12 setups tap out around 27-28hz before they run outta juice

not a total dealbreaker but from my experience, 15's play a tad bit lower

but as far as everything else, you could make a 15 just as accurate and tight as a 8

all in the box and sub/port orientation

Yeah I’m up ****’s creek. OP has gotta be more specific about his equipment and what he wants, IMO. 10’s take different boxes, so it’s hard to...

Watch the video pop put up. Those don't put up anywhere near what they claim. Hence why spokey said run it at 1 ohm.
