15 in ch L7 needs an amp

i have a 15 inch L7 Soloberic brand new (basicly) and i need a new amp for it because it blew a power acoustik 1440. Any sugestions for an amp that i can get 1000RMS out of? I want to get an amp that can move this power hungrey monster to it full potential please help

what impedence is the woofer, and what is your budget?

I am almost 100% posative that its 2ohm and my budget is nothing over 350 but the idle price would be around 200 but im open to many ideas

Polecat- i know you definatly know alot more then i do. but i think i need more power.

Thank you for the hiphonics option but i have heard bad things about over heating and them just stop working when they require as much power as the L7 does

L7's are dual voice coil subs, so a dvc 2 ohm sub can be wired at 1 or 4 ohms.

wat u smokin pos amp...if i were you id get maybe a rockford fosgate power 1000 that would be good $400 on ebay
