149.9 bassracer box help?!?!?

Well if you tune higher it typically is louder. So i just wanna find the middle of loudness on the meter and daily ground pounder.
I had my old 10s tuned to 33 and my new RD Alphamax's at 34. Didn't get much of a chance to play with the alpha's since my cactus imploded but it sounded pretty good daily for not being fully broken in. Didn't quite throw up the numbers I hoped but I only had 1 battery (spv70) and they weren't broken in, plus trunk car ftl

I want to tune to 30 but itll take soo much box space up if i give it the right amount of port area. So maybe 34-36. I tuned my alpha v.2 to 36 and it played a fairly flat response and got pretty loud out of a trunk.

What about using Aero Ports, You could do 30hz and only need 9-10 sq inches/cube vs Slot being 14+ sq inches/cube

**** good. 142.3 headrest in my volvo. loved that shit. they were 2 12's 3.5^3 35hz. real **** nice too. i got it from Dre_Atl on here. beefy subs
Pretty decent headrest score there for in a trunk. Well i can always sell em if i dont like them right?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif.

i use to be the same way about trunk cars man the loudest i got mine is a 143.9 an that was last month, my goal is 150 an i know i can do it cause i know this altima has more in it. the alpha's don't need alot of port area but throwing some at it does help, i will say go with what steve said but i see you have your mind set, cause i get most of my info from kenny an he helps me design my boxes but most of the time he just tells me to throw a box in the trunk start off with 2 aeros an work you way up, basically tune in car, haven't done it yet but i will be soon .

Steve is really persistent on the low port space. Idk why. But what i posted above is a lil above what he recommended lol. So idk what to do. Ik hes running the exact subs im getting from him in his tahoe and hes doing a 153-154 NW. But im not sure how much power he is running.

Did a 149@34Hz out of the trunk of my Altima at the headrest since it was MECA style metering. Needed to tune higher to get that 50 as box peaked too low...

Guy on DOA with 4 12" alpha's in a wall off a 5750 does right around a 150 and bass races 49.9 class. Your cone area should help make up for the power diff, so it seems very possible...
