147 db on a LOW tuned box

my subs don't play over 45hz right now, and will probably be dropped down to 40hz after I get better mids. Doesn't mean there should be a drop in volume. The biggest problem with this whole argument is the fact decibels do not say how loud something is, I want no audible dip in output, I could care less what score it does.

But if your subs don't play over 45 hz, how is that not a drop in volume to 80?

And if you have a drop in volume over 60, you can have an increase in volume in other places //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

because like I said, db's do not dictate audible output. If you were to sit in a car doing 150db at 2khz you would go deaf instantly, it's much much louder then 150db at 35hz. you can be down 10-20db and have the same volume just depends on the freq

and my system doesn't dip because I built it not to.
