145db with 1000rms??

This isnt a way to check and see how much power a amp puts out if thats the case i was getting 104 out of each of my Kicker 1500.1s with nothing on them when i was gain matching them.... How many watts would that be and how are you getting the information to say that you need 66vac at 2 ohms when nothing is hooked to the amp to give it a ohm load??//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif:rolleyes://content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif:rolleyes:
The equation P=V^2 / R, duh.

The max voltage the amp puts out is going to always be the same, no matter what the load is. But the power that voltage produces changes in accordance with what the subs are wired at.

In his case 2200 watts = 66V^2 / 2 ohms.

It's math, it works //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif

One of your partners? so your a homosexual now. Wow sad to see a shit hifonics amp running two wonderful subs. Ill tell you something those amps that are suppose to produce big numbers usually dont. Its okay because your information on caraudio comes from the side of the box it comes in.
See in these things called Partnerships, sometimes the money required to start and run a department or business would be to much for one affiliation to handle, so there are partners who each contribute offsetting amounts to the business. At my work there are 3. I don't know why I'm trying to explain this to a moron //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

So you saying i am getting over 5000 out of my Kicker ZX1500.1s?

x2, other guy is forgetting that the ohm load of the speaker in reality doesn't effect the voltage the amp puts out, only how the sub uses it (bassically)

think your amp is putting out the same power but if you compare a sub 4 ohm, with a sub half the resistance (2 ohm) it will appear that you have doubled the power, but you've actually only halfed the resistance of the load.

now your contradicting yourself and calling a moron wow, first say youve spent more on "enclosures" then you say you bought 1 prefab box then took axe too it. enclosure was plural. not singular. My next question have heard a BTL? Most you guys that comment have never heard the subwoofers that are discussed. You may have watched videos of them. That doesnt count for shit.

wow 10W6s you got a sick system dude. Mine on 20 is louder than urs all the way up. You know so much about car audio, you bought all ur shit at a store and them install it for you.

oh heres my box $75 with carpet.

What is your box tuned to?

lol cotjones trying to make a comeback and sound intelligent now. i liked it better when ur jl sounded like 2 watts compared to everybody else's 1 watt //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif LMAO

also to the guy doing a 155, that is a negative sir.
