145db with 1000rms??

my friend is doing 145 out of the trunk with a AQ 1200 and a pair of AQ sdc2.5's.Im doing 148.2 with a pair of PR's on a 1000d but its also a bandpass.

i was about to recommend the aq 1200d and 2 sd2.5 12s

Good luck finding quality subs at that price. It can be done, but will be hard to do. I had the best luck with 2-10's. Around 2-2.5 cu ft. Subs up, 2-4" pnr ports back, keep the box long with the subs going front to back, keep it as shallow as possible. Should be good for 145 db in most trunk cars with around 1000 watts.

There are so many factors that will dictate what #'s your set up is going to do.

i did a 146.x @ 44hz with 414~ clamped watts of kenwood powa.

142.1 @ 33 hz on 1000 watts could go higher i know did it on music not really tuned thrown in and tested. making a higher tuned box for comps also have shitty 4 gauge

If you build it specifically for output than a 145 is a no brainer. Doing it on music in a daily detup is a whole different animal.

Ummm, no sorry. I highly doubt that. Not trying to bash on your setup as Im sure its sweet but thats just not realistic judging by whats listed in your sig.

155 is not easy to get it.

To the OP, it can be done but you have to have some knowledge to achieve it.

Wheres H-town in michigan? You can witness my 155dBs. I know I atleast hit that. My buddies 148dBs his system is nothing compared to mine. I have the loudest truck in my county. Its night and day between our systems. I believe it was bigbassman who hit 160dBs with 246 watts. thats not a typo 246 watts. Oh wait you didnt see that, because you only joined a year ago.

I tell wha Im going to meter my system today, Ill scan the sheet up here and laugh my *** off later. You guys that claim to hit the 145+ range. I bet you hit 135+. Just system wont go over 150.
