145DB on a single 12"

Hey guys I know it's not really possible for anyone to say "this setup will get you this number" but I thought maybe you could recommend some equipment and tell me if my goal is realistic or not.

Basically I have a Mitsubishi eclipse 2G Hatchback.

Stock 70amp alt

Stock wiring (obviously I'll need to do the Big 3 and run 0awg)

New Battery but not a Yellow top

and a fiberglassed box that fills the tire well that's roughly 2.5cu with a removable port (I planned ahead : )

Now I'd like to do this with 1kw RMS amp and a single 12. Is this possible? Or should I move to 2000w and a single 15"?

I know that a 15 would be easier but I like that I can still use the trunk with my 12, where as a 15 would = less groceries.

Any rec's for subs? For an amp I'm looking at a DIE 2400D (the oldschool one)

im not a 45 but im a 43 with what i have and 1 amp
Well it's a logarithmic scale so wouldn't that be like half as loud? Not to put down 143. But if my goal is 145 I'd need at least twice your setup.

How about a Brahma? I can get a 12 for $240 shipped, the alt for another $240, and a good amp for $300 (used) Plus another $100 for 0awg for the big 3 and amp main.

Just under $900 for a badass setup. Sound about right?

Also I could get a 15 brahma for $260 or a 18 for 280. Would this be a better option? It'd definitely be cool to have an 18.

i was at 144.6 with a 12" Fi SSD on 2500 watts in a slot ported box tuned to 35 hz.

that's peak though, you'll never be able to do 145 with a 12" and 1000 watts on music.

in dB, +/- 6 changes the volume by doubling or dividing by 2

so 130 is twice as loud as 124 etc....

Oh, just for future reference. Put $800 OBO, or you will only get that $600, or less. ;)
