140amp Alt enough for my setup up?

If I do the big three in0/1 and get an optima yellow top,would it be enough to run my orion 2500d at 1 ohm?I will also be get a 4 channel amp later for my comps.

I have 2 JBL 1200.1's at 1.4 ohms each running off a 115 amp alt. I have the big 3 in 0 gauge, and 1 optima yellow top, and I am fine. I get slight dimming at very high volumes, but overall for daily driving it is fine, so I assume you will be OK, at least from my experience.

Make sure you use 0 gauge for everything though.

you should be straight.

i have about 3000wrms off my stock battery and alt, 130amps, tiny *** honda battery. luckily the stock element alt is decent, much better thatn the civics and shit. it only dims at full tilt.

but then i again i CAN turn my car off by playing test tones for a while.....
