i got a jbl 1200.1 i know it is more than 1200 watts because i blew two kicker l7's on it..letting it go for 220 +shipping

It can and will blow any speaker, if setup wrong.

but the pyramid 100 watt amp is limited to this much power, even when clipping. wont the L7s handle it since they wont be seeing much power ?

i heard somewhere that even with clipping there's a limit from what point it can destroy a woofer.
