13w6 on 1200w daily ?

Like the title says, can I put 1200w to a 13w6.I just got the sub today for a really good deal.The problem is my amp.It puts out 1200w at 2ohms or 300w at 8ohms.This is all I have to work with right now.How would you guys wire it, 2 or 8 ohms
