Old Orion XTR 15 DVC 800w RMS w/ Ferrofluid Injected

My brother gave me this sub after his car was broken into about 3 or 4 years ago and it has a pushed in cone that has been ****** back out with a vacuum really carefully. The cone has been pushed back in and pulled back out around 15 times probably. And it has been sitting in a closet for who know's how long. I hooked it up to my cheap AudioVox 5CD Stereo, and it was hitting pretty hard and the SQ was pretty good for only giving it 100watts. But if I give it all the power it needs in a car, and with the cone damage it's recieved would the SQ get really bad you think, or does it even matter?

Post some pics of the sub if you can.

If it was just the dust cap that got pushed in and you pulled it out, I doubt you'll have any issues. Even if it was still smashed in, you still should be OK giving it rated power.

Back in the day the Orion XTR is one step below the famous HCCA. Play with it, it likes bass.
