130 amp alternator not enough

I have a 130amp alternator right with about a 1700-1800 watt system it holds up fine with the optima yellow top under the hood. I plan on upgrading my system to 2 mtx 1501d and soundstreams VGA500.4. should be around 3000-3500 watts. I talked to Ohio generator today and the guy told me if i'm cruising around under 2000rpms or at a stop light i may have turn it down. this is using a 200amp alternator and a second yellow top battery. Does anyone know of any alternators that put up high numbers at idle

I doubt you will be using the full output while listening to music. A 200 amp alt may be fine.

Ohio Generator does some insane amps @ idle. They build an alternator that does 190 at idle and 210 at 1200rpm for my explorer.

I talked to them also but to get a quote on a price I had to go through a car audio dealer. whats that all about???
