My installer and i had a metting yesterday and we both decided since i like the type of bass you would hear on " Bass Mechanic" He recommened the w6's. The box is going to be in place of my rear 80/20 seat, the woofers are going to be firing down and not decided if the box will eb ported or sealed. i think i am going with sealed.. the amp will be wired at 4ohms so 600 per sub .. hope that is enough power????

what waste of an amp.........trade or sell your amp if your only going to use it at 4 ohms...

i wound up going with two jl 12w6's, in a sealed box. my problem is now that my subs have words coming out of them. i have a alpine cda 7941 HU , it has sub pre outs , the rcas go from the preout right tothe amp, dont know what the fock is going on

Well I am with that guy that says you are wasting that amp. The 2400xtr puts out almost 2000rms at 1.5 wich you could have run with the 13w7. Oh well

Also I am confused. I dont know how old this post is but read all the posts and you were wondering what to get. Last post here before I wrote you said you have words coming from your woofers? Man that was a fast install lol! Anyway what kind of crossover you running? A seperate one or off the amp?

the post when i was wonder what to get was only for the speakers. i had the two amps and HU, hahaha. The speakers were the only question. i am running just the sub pre out off the HU right into the amp input. does the sub pre out already filter out the high frequencies??
