how about, or why not just run the wire direct through a small hole and caulk it?

This is a much more flexible solution - I can change wiring outside of the box without cutting wire - just move the ring terminals.

have you noticed any loading issues with the subs over the port compared to the subs farthest away? Never built a box like that but have always wondered if it would create any issues...

Perhaps at incredibly high power it may be a problem - but in his case we have not seen any unusual issues.

nice install and numbs with low power.

i wire anything that goes to comps with bolts like that. it is so easy to change impedence,no wires out of the port and is sealed!
