12x Sundown SA-12s =)

I don't know. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif I didn't even notice til you said something. We do the regular 30sec runs. Something must have happened with their computer on that run.

Paul also hit a 155 at the big Meca event in TN yesterday and a 130.5 in drive by.

Im not doubting you guys at all, Im sure that setup is very capable of the scores. I was just curious, didnt know if they stopped the time for any reason.

Our DBdrag mics freeze every once in a while too, really sucks for bassrace

So that's basically 2 500.1s @ 1.3 vs 2 3500s at what ohm?
Did you wire em lower to gain or what?
AB 1000.1 @ 1.33 per side

SAZ-3500s @ 0.33 per amp

The AB 1000.1 protected at 125 dB at the 0.33 load -- not usable there at all.

The 3500s handle it fine even on music so for Paul he was around 2 dB louder since he could wire them down lower than he could his 1000.1

im pretty sure his drivers door was pretty phucked already and the hatch was repaired before also.that ab 1000.1 could handle those loads if he had better electrical i do believe.i think he still has cca 1/0 cable run from the front.i keep tellin him to get rid of it....
Electrical had nothing to do w/ the protection -- it protected at probably around 100 watts (125 dB). The protect circuit simply would not allow it to run that load whatsoever. Two huge 120+ pound batteries were about 12 inches of cable away from the amp as well for that matter //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I think the amp board is capable of it but the protect circuit is just set in such a manner that it won't allow it. Regardless -- the 1000.1 simply wasn't the right fit for this application.

Wooden distribution blocks add the dBeez *laughs*
In all seriousness if I had the supplies I'd of liked to have seen brass threaded rod speaker termination like I use on my boxes - but I didn't have the supplies or the time :

I gained 0.3 dB doing that vs. taking them out of the port.
how about, or why not just run the wire direct through a small hole and caulk it?
