yeah right if u know any thing it jl can take way more then rated

not really....maybe 100 more watts on those.....the only JL that can really take alot more than rated are the W7's....

oh, and im running 2 JL 13W6v2's on 1200 wrms if that says anything.....I think that 800 wrms would be good for those you are going to run.

um it will be ok..but its all box dependant

That driver was never intended to see 500w. If you want to use two of them do the 500.1. If sticking with the 1000.1 use the w6's, that's what they're built for.

They're going to sound like the box you put them into. Build it & tell us how it sounds.
