the PDX makes power from 2-4 ohms
to the OP...kicker zx2500 puts out lots of power at 4 ohms and has room if you wanna drop down to 2 ohms later

You're needing 1.2kW to 1.8kW @ 4 Ohms.
I'd say this is a bit of a contradictive statement on your part...

4 ohm was sold out.
8 ohm is more efficient, takes less to get an 8 ohm speaker loud.

That depends completely on efficiency, not impedance.

Your off base. 100 watts into 8 ohms is equal to 100 watts into 4 ohms.

You are still a moron. Your making general conclusions from a situaton that VERY MUCH depends on the specifications of the woofer. Again, it has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the frequencies the woofer was designed to play and EVERYTHING to do with the specifications of the woofer.
