I was looking into purchasing a new alternator soon. My amp does 1600 @1ohm( so it says ) But I was wondering if I should go with a 120 or 150 amp alt. I was thinking the 150, but just curious.

I say just get the 150 incase you decide to upgrade in the future..

Yep, always plan for future upgrades.

id go bigger imo 150 seems low and useless but then again i have a 275 so they all seem low to me hehe....

you could do one 150 right now and if you do a huge huge huge upgrade throw in another...then you can run 2 alts. with a total of 300 amp.....jsut an idea

upgrade to 120? my car puts out 120 or 130 with the stock alt. if your gonna upgrade go at least 180 unless you really cant afford it.
