Okeeee, gonna have about 2 to 3k watts when I'm done... and I'm trying to prep, but a HO alternator is like $600 :c

so.... instead, I'm thinking about getting a deep cycle optima yellow top to sit behind my starting battery (with relay thingymabob, not running in parallel) and upgrading my 75a alt to a 120. Will this be enough? :S

Maybe with a cap? lol

Capacitor should be a banned word on this forum, unless you're talking about a supercapacitor bank... ANYWHO, no, that probably won't be enough. I'd suggest upgrading your electrical before you buy equipment, your equipment will be much happier if it can get the power it wants. I can get a Singer 220a alt for my car for $420, yours shouldn't be that much more expensive
