Looking for a 12" dual 2 ohm woofer that can handle my Crescendo bc2000d. Needs to have a mounting depth of 7" or less (dc level 4, Fi BL, etc)

Why would an 8" be as good as it gets? Lots of high powered 12s out there without huge mounting depths8" might just be as good as it gets for a sub that'll take that kind of power. I'd get that DD if i were you

What truck?i guess my wording was wrong, i shouldve said "id try to make the 8" mounting depth work to run the DD, as it would be my choice if possible."Im in a similar situation too, as i drive a single cab. But i'm able to fit around 10" mounting depth
