12" Type R in a 04 STi... I want it loud!

Looking for some ideas on building a box for my 12" type rD4 in my Sti. I'm going to vent the rear deck so I can get some sound to pass through from the trunk. I'm also asking that I have an enclosure that will give me some trunk space still. (I know I'm asking for the impossible). I was thinking of building a box that fits below the rear decklid, and has the woofer and port facing up into the decklid vent.

Ideas greatly appreciated.

I was thinking that too, however I need to have the sub hidden so I dont damage the cone. I use my trunk a fair bit for work.
