12" TC9 sealed vs. 8" W7 ported

I might be looking to trade my 12" TC9 hybrid for a guy's 8W7 (if he accepts). It's be a squeeze in my truck to get the TC9 in anything but a sealed enclosure, but I could probably port the W7.

Mainly looking for SQ. I listen to a lot of different music, and just want to fill in the whole range. Don't need anything too loud, but I DO want some authority on the low end.

i think the 8w7 will be nice, heard one in a sealed box and its pretty loud and goes low well. But an 8 w7 requires large box so you still have a problem with space.

I'm pretty sure I can fit 1 cuft ported (JL's recommendation). I could probably fit 2 cubes ported with chimney ports if I really tried. I just don't want to do all the work it would require to fit the TC9 ported.
