12" sub for under $200

What would you recommend for a single 12" sub for under $200?

I'd like to be able to wire it to 2 ohms. I'm powering it with a Xenon x600.1 which will do 800W+ and with a trick it'll do significantly more (at 2 ohms).

It'll be going in a 2 ft^3 box tuned to 32-35Hz.

This is what I'm looking at now:

Ascendant Audio Arsenal

Fi Audio SSD

Kicker CVX

Kicker L5

Kicker L7

Alpine Type R

I'm looking for SQL. I'm coming from dual Assassin 12's, and I'd like similar SQ and as close to the same output as possible. I definitely want to keep this under $200, but the cheaper the better.

i have my type r 12 in the same exact box and it slams on 550 rms but i can tell it wants more power, the arsenal would also be a good choice, but if i were you, id go for the fi audio sub

Im suprised the Diamond Audio D6 hasn't come up yet. Great SQ, gets loud,and can handle way more power than its rated 600watts. Your x600.1 would be perfect for it.

I got mine for around $170 shipped on ebay.

As for the Fi, who knows it may be a great choice, just don't fall to the pressures of the latest bandwagon, especially since 99% of the people on here have never even listened to any of Fi's drivers.

I haven't heard the others but I absolutely love my Arsenal 12.

Mine is getting 600 watts and I have it in the recommended 1.2 cube sealed enclosure. It has excellent SQ, hits hard, and goes low.

800 watts in that enclosure should sound sweet.

i don't really have the opportunity to listen to most of these subs, but i probably won't be making a purchase for a little while anyways.

Although if you want it @ 2 ohms it will be $225.

The 4 ohm version is cheaper, around 200.

try the pioneer premier 3004spl's I just got a 3002spl and bilding a box right now I will let you know how it sound's I wet with 1.75cf at 32hz and they are under 130 shiped from ebay
