PS - Excuse the messy garage. . my shed burned down a couple of weeks ago so everything is piled in my garage //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Could someone take the time to explain this port style to me. I'm interested.

I've made a pretty successful box for 2 pioneer SVC 10's. built a sloted vent onto the back and tuned it to 36 htz. Sounds pretty nice.

Want to go to a single 10, Probably going to get an L5... Or something similar.

Something that would be perfect for 450 RMS @ 2 ohms underrated. anything D4 that would be perfect for 450@ 2 ohms.

any suggestions?

the port style is for making less air turbulence //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

nice start m8

curved just gives you a smoother port transition, less port noise.

If you cut slots in mdf about 3/4" apart and then moisten the other side a bit you can bend it like that.

or you can also buy type of wood called bend-a-board thats specifially made to do that with.

moisture and MDF dont play well with each other. . .

rather, just kerf it then bend the wood, it will go without trying to pull out other tricks as long as your cuts are good.
