12" RE Audio SX Questions

My friend wants to know if 600 watts RMS is enough for a 12" RE SX (ported)

also, what enclosures do ya'll recommend for it?

600 will get it going. Im throwing 1000 to my girls 12" SX an its a perfect match. Box is 2cubes @34hz an has great output an still picks up the lows very well. Im still surprised at the output from 1 12.

yeah..I had a 15" SX and it surprised me!

i ran my sx on 300 watts for a week to break it in and it still sounded nice. I now got it at about 900w but 600w will be fine.

can it take about 1300-1400?, I have a old MTX1501d I want to put to one 12?
