why not just run the sub at its rms, if its not loud enough, buy another one, if u run it at 1200watts daily your going to be buying another one anyhow.

woahloud is off his rocker. You dont compare the RMS output of an amp to the MAX power rating on a sub, that's an amateur's mistake.
