12" Alpine Type-R

Type X's might be decent for entry level comps, but your better off just going with the Type R's for a daily system.

I've been debating on a pair of 10" Type R's for a daily driver set up.
Well i you are lookin I have two lnib 10" type r's for real cheap. I will even throw in ported boxes. PM me.

lol, your either lying or you had issues with bad glass. There's no way Type R's would ever break glass on the limited amount of power they can handle, 2 or 2.67 ohms it doesn't matter....not gonna happen.

i just got a pair of type r subs and wired them to the mtx terminator amp and OH BOY!!!!!!!!!! when i first turned them on i didnt realize the gain was all the way up and the subs hit so hard that the muffler dropped right off my car. NOT KIDDDING EITHER!

Excellent subs.... once i'll be buying a 18 they'll be buy as soon by one of my friend . Everybody is impress with the output.

No pure sq subs tough. In 2.3ft/cu tuned at 32hz it doesn't hit the 30hz's that well

my neighbor broke (cracked) his windshield on 1500 watts and a pair of 12's, what he didn't want to admit was that his windshield already had a big chip in the glass which is where his cracking started. He was telling people that he was able to break glass with his set up, I figure it's possible for this guy to say the same thing, idiot.

I've got friends playing music from 140 to 160+db range and they don't break glass, there's no way Type R's could break glass, unless there was a factory defect in either the glass or the window seal. I've talked to guys that break windshields at comps and it was a problem with a certain glass manufacturers using poor quality glass and sometimes it's a high spot in the sheet metal around the glass where the gasket sits.
