4 10" l5's or 1 HDC3 18"

Just like the title says

Which one will yield better numbers off 2,000 watts

Will be in a midsize suv w/ about 10 cubes ported

Also which one would do better on music (30 hz)

Also open to other suggestions (trying to keep price of subs below $350)

4 10" hdc3s would do pretty good i seen a vid on you tube with a van with 4 10" hdc3 and was flexing that van pretty good. the 18" hdc3 maxis out at 2k. i used to have a 15" and ran 1500 rms and did fine but i would want to chance it.

No point in getting the 21, and spending double the price as the audioque. You might aswell get 2. 18s for the price of the dp. Anyways, I would get the 18. Much much much better subs than the l5s. To be honest, I had better results with 1 aq 18 over 2 15 l7s. Also 10 cubes is to big for the aq 18, 6 cubes is about right

I know the 4 L5's prob. have a slight edge in surface area and would be playing to their full potential off 2K

4 l5 need a 3000 for full potential.

but would sound great on 200 aswell so i would say l5s

My box is 6 cubes tuned to about 35 hertz, and the port is about 120 square inches

could also do 2 15" SDC's in around 8.5cubes off that power. Would be LOUD and LOW...

^^^ This seems like a good idea as well. Haven't heard a hdc yet but imo my sdc's sound much better on music than the l5's. should also do well w/numbers having the cone are advantage over the other options...
