12" 1000w RMS @ 1ohm Sub?

I'm looking for a 12" sub that can handle about 800-1000w rms @ 1ohm. So maybe a DVC 2ohm? I'm also looking for a 70/30% sq/spl ratio. I need it to work in a small space as a I have an extended cab truck, so nothing more then 1.25-1.75 cubes sealed.

Any and all input is greatly appreciated!

i dont no ur budget but i think the Adire brahma 12" is exactly what u want...its REALL loud and sounds real good......plus it works great in a 1.25cubie sealled just putt al little less power to it nd ur good

I would go a JL w7, Eclipse Tis, or 9500s. Those all are tight subs and they slam in ported or sealed boxes. You can always check out Brahmas and REs but they usually like more area.

Rattlin....ur funny man. W7....bad choice compared to a brahma 12. The brahma gets my vote for your truck.

so you dont think the brahma would be underpowered? i see the rms on the brahma is 1600w. i'll only be able to push about 1000w rms.

Thats fine. It will be as if your volume is always turned down a little. If your going sealed...which i believe you said you are, make the box as big as u can go so it takes less watts to push it to its max.

and also i went to adire yesterday and cris said that usually 6-700 is good enuff in that sized sealed....but hey...try whatever u want....if it was me id go with what the guy that makes em says....

The SQ will be amazing and the sub will be loud. You will be more than happy. Nice choice if u take the brahma.
