12 Inch vs. 15 Inch, the new system

So far, I have a 300.1 kicker amp, and 2 12'' kicker comps. Sounds nice, but I want to go higher.

In a hasty, almost drunken moment, I bought 2 15'' Powerbass 2xl subs. From what I have read online though, powerbass makes pretty good subs.

To power these 2 subs I already bought, I was going to buy a kicker 1250.1 sx amp, and later on purchase some nice cvx's or L7's to go with it. Also these will be 15''s

So today I had a problem checked at the local audio shop, and they fixed it. And i told him I'm probably going to buy the 1250, and said I had 2 15's already to hook up. And he said I should just do 8 12 inch comps, ontop of the two I already have.

Just looking for opinions of 12 vs 15's. Open for argument:furious:

I was told though that the lower the inch in sub, the more accurate the bass.

SO what I'm really looking for is the perfect balance between earth shatteringly loud bass and accurate bass.

Pros and cons please?

yea, mixing the brands is a bad idea, but eventually if I stick with 15's I"m going to upgrade those to cvx's or L7's. It was my natural idea to just stick with 15's, because 8 12''s is just rediculous in how much space, and the custom box would take up.
