12 inch record turntable in trunk?

Anyone ever stick a 12 inch vinyl player in their trunk? Could you hook it up directly to a preamp crossover?

I remember seeing the one where they put a turntable in the back of someone's ride....iirc the guy was a DJ or something? had a lil Datsun station wagon that they painted black with yellow graphics as I recall?

If it has a magnetic output you should be able to hook it to a preamp crossover but if it has ceramic output then probably not...

I wanna say it was a trunk car, but who knows... I"m sure it could be looked up by one of the bored guys out there.

You *could* run turntable, of course. You can put anything you want in a car... its just a matter of how bad do you want it.
