Stock 75amp alt, cheap with high cca front battery and a no name enerwatt 110ah 80ish lbs.
Between the batteries, there is an stinger isolator selonoid 200amp. The instal wasn't that fun, a lot of terminal since most of the wire run was made of 2 or 3
4ga. Anyway the result is nice. I do have a little less current with the car on getting to the amp (but there's a lof ot stuff between the two). The car on, i get around 14v at front batt and 13.8 at the amp. Not that bad i guess.
Anyway, while driving, dunno what rpm, there is NO voltage drop on my voltmeter till i get excessive amount of bass (see sign for setup). At full tilt !!!!! almost to no dimming at all while on highway.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

And the best of all, i seem to get a lot more from my substage. The 2006d seems more powerfull than ever.
I also love the fact that i can listen to music car off almost full tilt for a ??? time. let's say i'm using 110amp, the batt would last one hour? all that without emptying my front.
I'm not riding full tilt often, but when i'll do the batt really does the job and I don't see the need of an Ho alt on the few hundreds miles left on this car.

btw the batt cost me 250$ can so around 190$us atm. Things are expensive over here
