between the weight of everything the drag on the engine from the alts I bet that poor thing is screaming for help haha..looks like it should make a little noise though.

For god's sake, if you have to ask you do not have the required knowledge to handle such a large system.
I was curious as to what people run,as the largest system I have had was 3% of this, and I do have the knowledge for it. It is not rocket science, but merely the understanding of electricity and using math to get the desired results. Besides Rabbit wondered why no one ever asks about this, so I did.

No one ever asks, because those who are at the level where they want to run 10k systems are knowledgeable enough to already know the answers.

I just get tired of the 1k - 3k questions on this forum all the time. I have done massive systems many times over so I'm well aware, but talking about huge power or seeing what others have done is just nice to see/do some times.

you have no idea man.,.. i have had SEVERAL 2k-8k systems.. and when you get into multiple alts, multiple amps, hundreds of feet of 1/0 you will run into problems and you will run into problems you never thought about i guarantee you.. i have had tons of problems... Had to notch out floor of the box to get it back far enough to get enough airspace, had to rmeove idler pulley get some flathead bolts drill and retap new holes to get my bracket to work, had to make my own fuse attachment to get alts hooked up, had ot buy a maxxlink and osope to get 4 amps strapped and working properly which i have nevrer had to deal with, thought i would just run all my wires along the frame(wrong), good luck finding a place to run a softball size run of wires where they are not in any pinch points or in a dangerous position, im going to have to hook up and run a vcm, multiple custom buss bars, one of my subs was out of phase, imp rise... etc etc etc.. it goes on and on.. and that just scratching the surface of my built in a full size witht he entire bed to use.. Its never ending.. that much power and that many wires.. i probly got over 700' of wire... you are going to run into unexpected problems and you have to be careful where tou wire this or that or run the wires so you done get a short and lose a couple k quick

i have asked a few questions on here about the maxx link, and runiing rcas or splitting etc etc and can get no answers.. forum is useless.. if its not a 1k question newbs can answer theres only a handful of people on here to go to.. i had to learn alot the hard way but i became more knowledgable for it

Did you find your answers for the RCA splitting? I have done many different things over years, each has their own pros and cons.

I agree, but the way the question was presented I took it more as some kid who just wandered into the hobby and decided he wants to run a 10k system ya know? That would be like me walking on to a racetrack and asking how I build a dragster...

I did that, but my talon(91 AWD at that time) was sitting in the parking lot. Then when I brought it out the V8 guys had a good laugh until I ran once.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/sneaky.gif.7189749b3a3f769e8815b47e8ae87f88.gif

Sorry , that was OT but it just made me laugh remembering it. This was like 10 years ago.
