alright. so my cvr rms at 300, peaks at 600. keep in mind my sub is dual 2 ohm and my amp does 450watts at 4ohm and 800 at 2ohm.

so right now its a 450watts, and it sounds real clean ya know, but not loud ya know. and a 10 can only do so much i understand. but if i ran it the 800

1) could i tell a diff( well prolly but hey, why not ask)

2) would the sub even last as a daily without blowing lol?

You would hear a difference but the sub will blow, judging by your aparent lack of experience...get louder sub(s) or build a better box....

You could run it at 800. But you would have to keep your gains down a lil. My friend did three of the CVR 10s of my Bostwick amp and he must have gone through like 6 of them. lol.

But yea try running it at 800. Just watch ur gains

Definently make a vented enclosure for it, and expect some louder results.

I ran two 12" cvr's off of 1200 watts apiece, one took three months to blow, the other five. Now I run them off of 600 watts apiece and they handle it fine, in a ported box. They can take over rated power, but don't go insane with it.

kicker cvr is a dual 4 ohm sub at least the 12's are
