ok everyone i'm doing my stereo on my boat and i need HELP!! i have 6 boston sl65 in 1 box on my tower i'm running 3 and 3 in parallel so i only have two sets of wires coming out wich is only coming out at 1.3ohms. then on the inside i'm running i pair of focal cv1's and i pair of eclipse sc8264 components. i want to run 2 and 2 in parallel with those also so i only have two sets of wires coming up front and that will give me 2 ohms per side on those. i'm trying to only use 2 amps at the most but my problem is finding a 1ohm stable amp for the 6 bostons. does anyone have and suggestions.... i like to only use really good name brands so please give me some choices or different ways to wire these. thanks, dustin

ps. watts....

BOSTONS 60w rms

200w peak

eclipse 100w rms

300w peak

focal 70w rms

140w peak

haha i hope so too. this shit is stressful tho!!! its hard trying to find the right things to buy
You most likely won't get any help from most of the jerks on this website, but here are my suggestions to look at:

Audioque

Audison

DLS

Genesis

Helix

Hertz

Hifonics (cheaper and would probably work just fine for you.)

McIntosh

Quantum Audio

Rainbow

Sundown

US Amps

Zapco

Zed

those are all great companys but do absolute shit for helping this guy out

so what your saying here is you have 6 pairs of the boston speakers and 1 set of focals and one set of eclipse speaker

im thinkin your going to need more then 2 amps get a few cheap multi chan amps

Dude... first off what High's amp are you using?

.... All of those are 4-ohm speakers so this is what you should do.

( I had 10 speakers on my Interfire 700.4 - I just downgraded to 8 speakers ( Same wiring ) )

Just wire each set to 8-ohm ( Series )

+ on 1 speaker connected to - on the other speaker; the other + & - ran out...

Do that to ALL 5 sets... And you'll end up with (5) sets of wires @ 8-ohm

1) Either find you an efficient 2-ch A/B amp that can take a 1.6-ohm ( 2-ohm ) load Daily.

or

2) Find you an efficient 4-ch ( Bridging the 5th set from channel 1's + to channel 4's - ).

* NOTE

- You'll be fine doin' one of these. ( If you use a MM - It'll probably read 7.6-ohm to 8-ohm on each set of wires - that's completely fine. )
