10" sub

hey guys,

I am currently running 1 10" sub in my truck and I need to get a new one. Which would you guys recomend. The one in there now is a kicker 10" cvr powered by a alpine m-450.

i am looking at a 10 right now.... i like the specs on the SoundSplinter Rli 10, but that is because it works great in a small ported enclosure ( Mike has amazing customer service ) .... what application are you looking to run? ported... sealed.... how much space do you want to give up?

If you can find a used tc OEM10 that'd be good for ya. .75cf sealed is all they need and they are rated at....600 rms I think? Or maybe it's 800. One or the other...

I think I am going to go with this sub... The mounting depth looks about right and i hear good things about fi a lot. Is this a reliable sub that wont break on me because I am only using 1 sub? The little wires on the posts in the back of both of my kickers broke off so I want to change brands.

Thats all I have in my truck is a single SSD10 sealed on 600rms. I'm very impressed with it.

A Single Phoenix Gold Rsdc 10" will be very good. You could port it as well because it works well in small boxes. You could have a box as small as .368cuft ported if you wanted to. Its a really efficient sub. Doesn't matter how much power you put to it, it sounds really good. I know some people putting a clean 1200watts rms to one. So if you upgrade you amp later it could take it.

Is ficaraudio.com the only place where you can buy fi subwoofers? I really want to go with the single ssd 10 subwoofer.

that's the only place to buy new. but search the classifieds, you may find one used.

look for a lower model dd 10 i took out a cvr12 and made a box for a dd 1512 and what a differance and its pretty loud to the ear and plays well into the 30s with250 rms....

check into a alpine type r they can be had on ebay for around 100 shipped brand new nice budget subs

I have a 10" Image Dynamics IDQv3 d4 only used for probably 1-2hrs. I will do $200. PM if interested. It will play beautifully with that amp.
