10" Budget system with amp?

Guys please help me pick out a 10" sub with box and amp budget system. I want a good system here but stay around $350

What about a 10" Alpine type r 2ohm in sealed box and a hifonics 600watt 1 channel which should give this sub about 300 watts rms? or this one

it's only an extra $15 from a 10 to a 12, do you have the room for it?

as for amplifiers, you just need an amp that does at least RMS of the subwoofer.

you mentioned hifonics, so this is one that would work.

Dual 2 ohm Type R wired to 1 ohm

I thought of a 12" Because I did not want to take up too much room in my trunk. As far as that amp goes that is the one I am talking about but how would I wire it for a 1ohm to get the 600watt rms. Also what do 1, 2 , 4 ohms all mean, and is there any better than the other?

Tell us what vehicle this is going in, we might be able to help a little more.

350 is far from the worst I've seen as far as money to be spent

Keep in mind you have to have the box and the wires too though ...

I have an amp kit already installed. This is going into a 04 neon. I just wanted something that isnt going to take up the whole trunk and also is going to sound good.

I can go up to $500 FYI

I just need help getting some bass in the back without going huge, this is my daily car

If 10's are the subs you want then several options that you can try. As far as an amp It depends on which of these subs ou like I think the peerless sub has excellent sq as well as the dayton mkIII. I would choose one of those.

Yes I have room, but is it going to be that much difference from a 10" to a 12"? I am also trying to cut down weight as my last system made my rear sag.

he seems more worried about weight than space...and i missed that...
