10", 2 ohm DVC, 1 to 1.3 cubic feet net, 500 to 700 watts RMS sub recommendations

I'm drawing a blank tonight, but I am going to be in the market for a 10" sub, 2 ohm DVC to wire down to 1 ohm, that can handle 500 to 700 watts RMS, and sound decent in 1 to 1.3 cubic feet net, preferably tuned to 35 Hz or higher. As for budget, I'd like to keep it less than $500, the cheaper the better.

The only one that comes to mind as of right now is the Sundown SA10. What else should I be looking into?

Holy balls. $500 budget for a 750rms 10? Lol. That's really narows it down.

I vote Tantric Sounds MD. And you're right down the road.

Why 35hz or higher? You listen to a lot of rock?

It's easier to achieve that tuning without adding another cubic foot for the port area, lol. I guess I could take it as low as 30 Hz.

35 is fine. I'm just used to seenig people ask, "I wunna tunning to teh 14 hurtz!!"

My last little single 10" box was tuned to ~ 40hz (don't even know) and it still killed low 30's and sounded even better on non-rap.

Tantric sounds interesting... It would go with my theme of using Louisiana amplifiers to have a Louisiana sub too.

I do have a Digital Designs 510 with D4 coils that would probably work with my Lunar L1500, but I know the amp would be reaching its potential at 1 ohm instead of 2. I'm waiting for one of my forum buddies to come in and blast me for wanting to run an amp at 1 ohm, lol.
