Lol, my bad. I didn't say pro audio though. They could be elegant or practical without being overly-obnoxious. Like 2 8's playing lower midbass, 2 6.5's playing mids, and a couple tweets to round out the top. Would play a great range, up to par with sub section at least, and wouldn't be totally douchey like a camaro on 24's. 4th order or 6th order will depend upon what subs you go with. Dont rule out a flat wall either as they can get very loud.

I did a Durango last year with 4 9518's off 2 DD SE's, peaks at 36Hz and does a 58+ legal. KILLER demo set up as it was built to play music. I ran a flat wall with 4 15's in my last set up and it was a 59+ car that was very loud on music.

I just finished up a Burban with 10 OA 18's in a 4th order. Not quite as loud on the meter as the Durango, but VERY loud to the ear from mid 20's to upper 40's.

I run a 6th order that plays from 30hz -50Hz within a few dbs.

IMO a flat wall seems to hit you harder then the other type of set ups. Lately everyone is doing 4ths or 6ths and throwing in a shitload of subs, but that doesn't mean a simmple flat wall won't work well.

Personally I'd do 4-6 GOOD subs in a flat wall vs a bunch of budget subs in a 4th/6th. I'm assuming you'll be doing all the work yourself, otherwise that $10k will vanish in a hurry...

10000 goes by way faster then some of you think. If all you want to hear is bass then it can go along way. Having the front stage keep up, it starts adding up fast.
