1 window tint question

i have 20% tint on my front driver/passenger side windows. Should i layer 20% on there again or take it off and then put 5% on there?

or does it matter?

20% over 20% will be darker then just 5%. I got 20% around my whole car. I am thinkin of throwing another layer of 20% over the fronts then a layer of 5% over the 20% in the rears.

If your existing layer isn't all scratched up just double over it. I once had a glass shop remove existing tint and re-tint due to warranty work and they missed some spots of glue. That looks like isht if they don't do it right.
