the mempish 15" says only 300watts rms though?

Dont under estimate the the ability of memphis subs with 300 watts but i dont think you will be happy with the SQ for that price. Im a big fan of memphis subs too but they tun in the high 30s low 40s I dont think you will like it for SQ. look for a used rl-P on here. rl-P uses the same motor as the old SI Mags they handle way more than the rms listed and dont loose SQ in the process. I had the sonic FX which is the shorter version of the motor which is used by the IA Death Penalty and I killed SXes daily in SPL and SQ. and got my FX for about $230

I would prefer rounds but cant find any good ones in my budjet/ power I want .. kicker rounds is 15 cvr 500rms for $150 or the cvx 1000rms which is nice but for $290 I cnt rlly afford it...

the cvr 15 is a good sub for the money in the right box i had one in a 5.6 cuft box ported tuned @ 34HZ on a directed 1500d @ 1ohm 1200 watts i was good clean sound lots of spl not muddy at all just for the money a its just my opinion its a good sub i wanted more spl so i got a L7 15 same size box same tuning same amp and hit a 147 on 1 15 at a local spl comp on a new meter
